Bundled launches: how to check if a coin was bundled

A bundled launch is when the developer buys a big slice of their own coin in the first moments, spread across many fresh wallets so it looks like organic demand. Those wallets are an exit plan: when real buyers arrive, they sell into them. A bundle checker finds them before you buy.

How bundling works

On Solana, several transactions can be sent together as a bundle that lands in the same block. A dev creates the coin and, in the same block or the next few, buys from 10, 20 or 50 new wallets. On the pump.fun chart it looks like a fast, healthy start. In the holder list it looks like many small holders. Underneath, one person controls all of it.

How to check for bundles

  1. Paste the coin's address into A.U.G.U.R Rugscope.
  2. Read the bundle section: how many wallets bought in the launch window, what they paid, and the share of supply they still hold.
  3. Compare with holders: if the top holders and the bundle wallets overlap, the float is much smaller than it looks.

A.U.G.U.R's own snipers apply the same idea automatically: the strict rug-guard preset skips coins where bundle wallets still hold more than 5% of supply.

Is every bundle a rug?

No. Some devs buy a small bundle to stop bots sniping the launch, then hold. That's why the share still held, the dev's history and real sell flow matter more than the bundle alone. Read how to check a pump.fun dev next.

Memecoins are extremely risky. Most go to zero, often within hours. Nothing on this page is financial advice. Only trade what you can afford to lose.

Questions

What is a bundle on pump.fun?

A group of buys, usually from fresh wallets controlled by the developer, landed in the same block as the launch so the dev owns a large share while the chart looks organic.

How much bundled supply is too much?

There's no universal line, but bundle wallets still holding more than about 5–10% of supply is a strong warning, because they can sell into every buyer.

Can I check bundles for free?

Yes. A.U.G.U.R Rugscope at maddegen.art/rug runs bundle forensics on any Solana token for free.
